A museum presenting materials related to the rice of the Uwa region, an area with a renowned history of rice production.
Actual samples of around 80 varieties of rice plants along with a range of real, once-used farming equipment are on display in this wooden building that was once an elementary schoolhouse before being relocated to its current site.
From the windows of this old schoolhouse, you can look out over a fine, tranquil view of the old townscape and rice paddies that stretch away into the distance.
